SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or
doctor or going for treatment. Describe any symptoms and follow the advice given.
Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.
Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting
unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything
by mouth to an unconscious person.
Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue
rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Skin Contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty
of water for 15-20 minutes. call a poison control center or doctor for treatment
advice.

fire fighters. Excessive use of water may create excess run-off water which may

IN CASE OF SPILL OR LEAK
Spilled material should be carefully collected and containerized in a manner that
produces the least amount of airborne dust. Residual surface material may be
removed with towels moistened with water. This product contains no Comprehensive
Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) listed
chemicals. Spills/releases of this product are not reportable to the National
Response Center.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR CLEANUP PERSONNEL
Eyes: Use proper protection – safety glasses as a minimum.
Skin: Wear water proof gloves. (Good practice requires that gross amounts of any
chemical be removed from the skin as soon as practical, especially before eating
or smoking.)
Inhalation: If working in enclosed spaces, wear a NIOSH approved respirator
with an organic vapor (OV) cartridge or canister with any R, P, N or HE prefilter.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD
Containerized wastes should be taken to a local disposal company for biological
treatment or incineration. Whitmire Micro-Gen suggests that all Local, State, and
Federal regulations concerning health and pollution be reviewed to determine
approved disposal procedures. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage
or disposal of wastes.
SECTION 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Keep out of reach of children. CAUTION – Harmful if swallowed or absorbed
through skin. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing.
Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Do not contaminate kitchen
utensils with this product. Pets may be attracted to this product.
NOTE: Certain breeds of herding dogs (such as Collies, Border Collies, Old English
Sheepdogs, Shelties and Australian Shepherds) may be sensitive to abamectin, particularly
if pure bred. Exposure of these breeds to abamectin bait should be minimized
by placing it beyond their reach or scattering it well.
STORAGE
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage. Store in a cool, dry space
which is inaccessible to children, pets, livestock or wildlife. Do not store near heat
or flame. Store in tightly closed container. Do not reuse empty container.

ACUTE
Eyes: Caused slight conjunctival irritation in albino rabbits reversible in seven
days. Caused a dull cornea in albino rabbits reversible in three days. No iritis was
observed.
Skin: Non-irritating to skin. Irritation index = 0.00 for albino rats. Acute dermal
toxicity (LD50) = 2.0 g/kg in albino rabbits.
Ingestion: Acute oral toxicity (LD50) > 5.0 g/kg in albino rats.
Inhalation: Bait particles are not respirable. The product does not represent an
inhalation hazard.
CHRONIC / CARCINOGENICITY
This product is not classified as a carcinogen by the National Toxicity Program
(NTP), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) or the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
SECTION 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
This pesticide is toxic to fish and wildlife. Do not apply directly to water, to areas
where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water
mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters.
